Dear Denny, I'd Build A Time Machine For You.

Something ripped your heart apart
As you bravely read his name
Across his final resting place
No child should ever cry your tears

If I could, I'd build a time machine
Go back and save him from his ill-timing
(Then we wouldn't have met, but that's okay)
At least you wouldn't hurt this much
But all I know is to dream up words
To compensate, for my lack of comfort and counsel
I don't know how else to save you
But I won't leave you with the demons
Let me stand by your side, with pride
Stand witness to your strength and courage

Denny dearest,
Don't you realise how much more beautiful you've become?
